Work, Work, Work (Pub, Club, Sleep)
Last week was extremely busy at work (as predicted), but I'm pleased that it went much smoother than I was expecting. The spectre of having to finish things off on Saturday was hanging over my team for the last part of the week, but – despite the odd hiccup – we managed to get the job done and dusted by Friday evening.
This was an extremely pleasing development, and I took full advantage of the situation by sleeping away
Feeling suitably refreshed, it was time to embark on an evening of (dangerously) alcoholic cocktails and (dangerously) alcoholic dancing. Fuelled on a combination of Black Russians, White Russians and Sexes on the Beach, Sheffield's Leadmill was our destination. As tends to be the case, it was a fantastic evening, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Until around Sunday lunchtime, that is.
Next week at work has much more hard graft in store, but if it leads to another weekend like this one, it will all be worthwhile.
